You can deposit the full bail amount at the Intake Release Center cashier: cash, bank cashier’s checks, money orders, traveler’s checks, or personal checks from a California bank up to $7,500 with two forms of ID, payable to “County of Orange – Sheriff’s Department.” Bail for courts outside Orange County must be paid in cash. The deposit is returned after the case’s court appearances.
